I like the one-stop shop idea of estate agent and conveyancing solicitor all rolled into one. I like the little extras like notifying utilities. But, most of all I like to be phoned and told what is happening or not happening. So many agents I have dealt with fall down in this area, having got your business they never bother communicating with you assuming all customers are one-off customers, and repeat business is unlikely.
From the initial meeting Sean offered me all the services I needed, even arranging to have the windows cleaned. The fact they have a solicitor on site, made the process quick and clean. The knowledge of Du Cane Court was very beneficial as the Management charges and how they operate was able to be explained easily to the purchaser.

Sean is really fantastic about keeping in contact, being transparent and responding very quickly to calls and emails. More than anything though in this transaction it was Sean’s willingness to meet with the buyers multiple times at the property, even liaising with the builder and ensuring it was done to the standard required by the buyer. Exceptional service in every way. I live abroad and let my flat in Balham through Porters, both letting and management. I have full confidence in leaving everything to them, I rarely even have to think about the flat which is a big weight off my mind. Letting my flat for the first time I was a bit hesitant that they weren't one of the bigger agents but it's actually so much better. The service is personal and they really care. The speed they deal with everything is amazing, the communication is so fast (I prefer email so that's what I get) and things just get done. A few things have gone wrong with the flat and Porters get people on it straight away. I've heard stories of management companies who just call you if something goes wrong and you have to deal with it but not Porters. They get the right people to do the job at the right price, keeping me informed and giving me choices along the way. Porters' fees are so reasonable and there are no hidden costs. If you are looking to rent out your place, especially if you are a novice landlord like me, I highly recommend you talk to Porters.
Service levels, excellent all round. The service provided far exceeded my expectations and response times were always quick. Sean and his team have made renting my property in Du Cane Court remarkably stress free and sorted out a number of things for me (some of which weren't their job at all!) with minimal fuss. The fact they know the estate office at Du Cane Court is a plus as it makes applying for permission to let much easier. Sean is also very friendly and a nice person to deal with.
